Feedback is a great way to suggest improvements to the businesses you love without hurting their online presence. Furthermore you can do this without the awkwardness of giving up your identity. And if you’re a business this is a great opportunity to gain valuable unbiased feedback to better serve your customers. That being said it is important to us the service works properly in masking customers identity and only collecting basic information needed for Feedback to operate. When you use services provided by the Feedback app either as a guest user, customer user, or business user you will share some information with us. That being said we want to be as upfront as possibly with the information we collect, how we use it and whom we share it with. Information We Collect
& How We Use It

There are three types of users that can use Feedback and each are different in the information we collect and it’s uses. Each time we collect and or save this information the date and time at which the information was collected is also tracked. Below outlines each of these user types.

Guest User:

This type of user collects the least amount of information and occurs when the user taps “Continue As Guest” while at the Login page.
Information we collect and it’s intended use:
Device UUID: UUID stands for Universally Unique Identifier. This is used to keep track of messages sent from the users device since there’s no account involved. This is needed to moderate malicious content and allow businesses to block messages from users they feel are not following our Rules and Guidelines found in our Terms of Service.
Device Location: An accurate collection of the device’s location is collected if the user has allowed the Feedback app to do so. This is used when providing suggested businesses to leave feedback to nearby.
User Feedback: We collect the message or chosen poll answer the user provides to send to the respective business so they can receive it and improve!

General User:

This type of user occurs when the user signs up for a general account (not business).
Information we collect and it’s intended use:
User Email: This is used to facilitate basic functionality such as future logging in and password reset.
Device Location: An accurate collection of the device’s location is collected if the user has allowed the Feedback app to do so. This is used when providing suggested businesses to leave feedback to nearby.
User Feedback: We collect the message or chosen poll answer the user provides to send to the respective business so they can receive it and improve!

Business User:

This type of user occurs when the user signs up, selects business as it’s type and chooses an available business from the search field.
Information we collect and it’s intended use:
User Email: This is used to facilitate basic functionality such as future logging in and password reset.
Business Polls: We collect the polls you create so you can ask your customers the right questions to improve your business.
Business Responses: We collect the messages you send to the user so you can build better customer relationships
Camera: We access the phones camera to collect a picture to be used as the business’s public display picture.
Google Places API: We use this API when you search for business to gather your basic business info for easier setup. The information we collect from the API for use in Feedback is the business name, street address, geographical location and Google Place ID.
Stripe: To make payments for Feedback business subscriptions we use Stripe(https://www.stripe.com). Stripe sets the standard for online payments and security. The information we collect in Feedback relating to your card is sent directly to them without touching our servers. This way your card information is more secure and handled with the utmost care. After this we only interact with your customer account on Stripe which is needed to manage subscriptions and saved cards. This however does not return complete card information.

Revisions to the Privacy Policy

Since the app is constantly changing as new features are added and old features are removed this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We may notify you changes to the document have occurred through a notification in the Feedback app or we may simply change the last updated date at the top of this page.
